国際観光学部の平賀富一教授（博士 経営学、学校法人大阪成蹊学園 理事長補佐兼務）が、2023年9月11日にマレーシアのUOW Malaysia KDU University College (以下UOW Malaysia：首都クアラルンプールに隣接するセランゴール州シャー?アラム）のGlenmarie Campusを訪問しました。
大阪成蹊大学は同大学との間で相互の交流等に感する覚書（MOU）を交わしており、今回が双方にとって初めての対面での交流機会となりました。

UOWは学術担当副学長（Deputy Vice- Chancellor (Academic)）のProfessor Dr.Hon Wei Min教授（博士）以下、ホスピタリティ?観光?調理学部（School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts）とコミュニケーション?創造芸術学部（School of Communication and Creative Arts）の両学部長が参加。
当日は、互いの学園や大学の紹介、教育用レストランでのランチ、観光業（ホテル?レストラン等）やメディア関連の教育用の教室?施設などを中心にキャンパスツアーを行いました。
今後、両大学は様々な交流を行う予定であり、今回の訪問はその第一歩となりました。

On September 11th, 2023, Dr. Tomikazu Hiraga, a professor from the Faculty of Global Tourism and Management at Osaka Seikei University and Senior Advisor to the Chairman of Osaka Seikei Gakuen, visited the Glenmarie campus of UOW Malaysia KDU University College (UOW Malaysia) located in Shah Alam, Selangor, next to the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
Osaka Seikei University entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UOW Malaysia, making this the inaugural face-to-face interaction between both institutions.

The host party included Professor Dr. Hon Wei Min, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), as well as the heads of both the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts and the School of Communication and Creative Arts. The day's activities revolved around the introduction of each other's universities, enjoying lunch at the educational restaurant, and a campus tour, emphasizing tourism-related (hotels, restaurants, etc.) and media-related educational facilities. Both universities are looking forward to exploring various future collaborations, and this visit was a significant first step in that direction.
